Try Dive (boat) in the Andamans:
Get a taste of the vibrant coral reefs and exotic marine life of the Andamans on a quick itinerary. Your adventure begins with a short training session at the Govind Nagar beach. Here, a certified dive instructor will take you through basic skills like hand signals and safety protocols. When you’re confident enough, you’ll take a boat ride in the Andaman Sea and take the plunge to complete one open water dive. You’ll spend some time in the company of tiny fishes on the lively sea floor, coming back to shore with an amazing underwater experience.
This trip is perfect for travellers who are short on time, with a strict budget, without any prior swimming or scuba diving experience, but would still like to sign up for the most popular attraction of the Andaman islands.
Destination:
Your dive center is located on the popular Govind Nagar beach on Havelock Island, but you’ll be diving to explore a dive site in the Andaman Sea. Most dive spots near the island offer perfect diving conditions for beginners, with pleasant water temperature and little to no ocean current. The gentle water of these dive spots are home to a number of small critters and fishes, from shrimps and clownfish to sea horses and butterflyfish. The morning sun provides enough visibility in the clear and clean water of the dive spot, allowing beautiful views of the white sandy sea floor.
Arrive at the dive center and meet your dive instructor. During a short training session in the shallow water of the beach, you'll learn the basic skills of diving, from simple hand signals to proper swimming technique. After the session, you'll board a boat and head out to a nearby dive site. Under the supervision of the dive instructor, you'll complete one open water dive and explore the lively corals and colourful fishes. Return back to the dive center at the end of the dive. Your trip ends here.
