Itinerary

<span> DAY 01</span>Arrive Cochin and Proceed to Cherai

Upon arrival in Cochin, get assisted transfer Cherai Beach, which is one of the best-voted beaches of the state, is situated at a distance of 30 km from Kochi city. Its strategic location on the northern end of the Vypin Island in Kochi makes it a perfect merging point of the sea and backwaters. The surrounding greenery and the seashells present in different shapes and Chinese fishing nets add to the beauty of the sea. Its coastline alone runs for about 15 km and plays a distinguishing factor from all the other beaches. Overnight Stay at Cherai Beach.

<span> DAY 02 </span>Cherai to Cochin

After breakfast, we checkout from the Hotel and proceed to Cochin. Cochin the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala. Cochin is also known as Queen of Arabian Sea. It has one of the finest natural harbours in the World. Places to Visit: Dutch Palace, (except Friday) Jewish Synagogue, (except Friday & Saturday) Jewish Street, St. Francis Church (except Sunday) and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight at Cochin.

<span> DAY 03 </span> Cochin to Munnar

Today morning, after having breakfast, you will be checked-out from the Hotel and driven towards the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by beautiful hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will indeed hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way, you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel or a resort; overnight stay at Munnar Hotel/resort.

<span> DAY 04 </span> Munnar Local Sightseeing

Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, and you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. During the day, you will also visit Eravikulam National Park(Entry tickets own cost) where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel. Transfer

<span> DAY 05 </span> Munnar to Thekkady with Thekkady Sightseeing

Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and checkout from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady town. On the way to Thekkady, you can visit Malayil Kallan Guha & Powerhouse Waterfalls. Thekkady is located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest, which is home to a stunning variety of flora and fauna. It is bound to wake up and give pleasure to the nature lover in you. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grasslands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Close to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. Take a boat ride here to bask in the true beauty of the place truly. Coming back from the boat ride, you can go for local shopping & visit spice plantations also. Also see Kathakali Show, Kalaripayattu Show, (if time permits, at own cost) Overnight stay in Thekkady hotel/resort.

<span> DAY 06 </span>  Thekkady to Alleppey

Start your day with an appetizing breakfast at the Hotel. Checkout and proceed to drive to Alleppey. The houseboat cruise re-starts from Pallathuruthy at Noon. The Houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The beautiful views of lush paddy fields from your Houseboat are spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambience. The Houseboat is anchored for the night at Mangalam/Marthandam.

<span> DAY 07 </span>Alleppey to  Kumarakom

Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Kumarakom. Upon arrival in Kumarakom, The rest of the day is free to absorb the serenity of your beautiful resort. Kumarakom the charming emerald peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake takes you into the heart of the scenic lake where you’ll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes. Sightseeing in Kumarakom includes Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (entrance ticket and boat charges as per actual), an ornithologist’s paradise is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

<span> DAY 08</span> Kumarakom to Cochin Drop

Check out from the Hotel and drive to Airport / Railway Station for departure. Tour End with Happy Memories.
