Upon arrival at Cochin meet and greet at the Airport or Railway Station. Later we proceed towards the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel or a resort. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel/resort.
Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, and you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. During the day, you will also visit Eravikulam National Park(Entry tickets own cost) where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel.
Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and checkout from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady town. On the way to Thekkady, you can visit Malayil Kallan Guha & Powerhouse Waterfalls. Thekkady is located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest, which is home to a stunning variety of flora and fauna. It is bound to wake up and give pleasure to the nature lover in you. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grasslands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Close to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. Take a boat ride here to bask in the true beauty of the place truly. Coming back from the boat ride, you can go for local shopping & visit spice plantations also. Start your day with an appetizing breakfast at the Hotel. Checkout and proceed to drive to Alleppey. The houseboat cruise re-starts from Pallathuruthy at Noon. The Houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The beautiful views of lush paddy fields from your Houseboat are spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambience. The Houseboat is anchored for the night at Mangalam/Marthandam.
Today the houseboat cruise starts at 7.30 AM along with the breakfast. The Houseboat travels via Kanjipadam and moves towards Pallathuruthy. You shall reach the jetty dock by 9.00 AM. After checkout from Houseboat, we proceed to Kovalam by road. On the way to Kovalam, we will do sightseeing of Trivandrum: Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery and Zoological Gardens (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple). The evening reaches Kovalam. Overnight stay at Kovalam hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for a day tour of Kovalam. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline; the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. A massive rocky promontory on the coast has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. You will visit Thiruvallam Parasuraman Temple, Lighthouse Beach, Kovalam Beach, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Hawah Beach, Vellayani Lake, Velli Tourist Village and Samudra Beach.
Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, you will be dropped to the airport/ railway station for the onward journey—Tour End with Happy Memories.
